Miniature German Sword

Probably produced as a salesmans sample or possibly a letter opener type gift to a potential client, this type of "desk ornament" have become very collectible in their own right, as have the accoutrements which accompanied them, particularly miniature port-epee's. By accumulating these minor works of art it is possible to form an impressive collection of resentative side arms at a fraction of the cost of their full size counterparts, with a much reduced storage area requirement!
All silver finish remaining to grip and crossguard, some minor loss of finish to curved blade.
