Third Reich RAD Leaders Dagger Hangers

A slightly unconventional set of hangers for the officers dagger, having deluxe Luftwaffe spring clips in place of those normally seen. There is no evidence of post war replacement or tampering, so we must assume that this anomaly occurred during the period, perhaps due to personal preference of the owner, or lack of the normal clips at the manufacturer. Whatever the explanation, this set are clearly period made and in excellent condition, even having remnants of the felt backing material to the reverse. Accompanying this set is a purpose made leather belt loop which matches the leather strap’s perfectly, and demonstrates just the right amount of wear to show these have been together forever.
Perfect set for the collector who appreciates the period, but unconventional nature of these accessories.
