Third Reich Professional Hunters Portepee

Amongst the most rare of the dagger knots worn during the third Reich period, the one associated with the professional hunters of the Deutsche Jägerschaft is so rarely encountered that few collectors are even aware of its existence. Consisting of a silver tress strap with twin brown line decoration, silver slide, silver “crochet” style stem with silver former beneath, silver and brown crown and silver, oval acorn. Base of the acorn has a twisted brown wire infill. Some minor damage and fading to strap from period use.
