Vintage Commemorative Plaque

A wooden WW1 war memorial plaque having gilded lettering.
Some research has been conducted into the names listed on the memorial, showing that the second listed, Arthur Barber, was a member of the R.N.V.R. and was only 19 years of age when he was killed, and subsequently awarded the Military Medal. He is additionally commemorated on the Arras war memorial.
The memorial has a degree of rot to the wood, and fading to the lettering, and would benefit from some restoration.
