Early hanger incorporating an unusual period belt loop having an adjustable bobbin and a magnetic "D" ring in the lower loop. Grip strap is matching leather with correctly operating snap clip. Single piece hanger has unmarked early nickel hardware and quality leather, complete with the often missing retaining loop.

Third Reich Luftwaffe Dagger Hangers

Oak leaf decorated, upper Spring clip is both D.R.G.M. and RZM marked. Straps are connected to the clip via metal fold over tabs which are riveted through. Buckles, slides and lower push-up clips are oak leaf decorated. Longer strap is torn for part of its length.  read more

Falklands War Souvenir

The exact purpose of this medallion is unknown, but was returned from the Falklands conflict by a British Veteran. Metal appears to be alluminium and measures just over an inch in diameter.  read more

U Boat Plaque

Interesting plaque in what appears to be cast alluminium. Laurel leaf edging surmounted by an iron cross with raised out swastica. Some eight inches at the widest and with a raised out U-boat in the centre. Minor corrosion to obverse and reverse.  read more

A later produced set of hangers which, judging by the stiffness of the straps, have seen little carrying use. This set do not have the green velvet backing, and remain straight when held horizontally. Plain upper box clip, very well defined, oak leaf decorated buckles and slides. Third Reich SA Sword Hanger

The SA sword is rare, but the recognised hanger for the sword is virtually unknown. This example has worn but near perfect brown leather with correct, perfectly operating, blackened buckles to the lower section. Upper belt loop section is secured by a plated, "capstan" style bobbin.
