Silver bullion strap has twin dark green lines running its length and a dark green/ silver slide. Silver crochet style stem, crown and acorn. Base of acorn filled with dark green twisted wire. Some wear due to age and use.
Accoutrements for forestry or hunting cutlasses are notoriously difficult to locate.  read more

Leather strap, with three lines of silver bullion stitching, some small areas of bullion loss throughout the length. Leather and bullion slide, crochet style stem. Pink/silver crown and acorn with twisted pink /red wire stuffing to the lower ball.

Third Reich Wehrmacht Shooting Target/Prize

A large circular wooden picture of a wild boar and hunting dogs which has been used as a target for an officers small calibre shooting competition. Holes in the target have been marked with the names of the shooters. The winners name is painted beneath the picture and his winning shot circled. It is dated 15th July 1937. Presumably this item would have hung in an officers mess.  read more

The sword of the German Mining organisation or Bergbau is a rare beast, and finding the appropriate accoutrements for it a very difficult task indeed. A well made accoutrement having a green leather backing, perhaps giving it a forestry or hunting connection?
