Superb example having no damage to the black leather which is ink stamped ‘Technische Nothilfe’, twice, to the reverse, with the owners name hand written in ink. Third Reich RAD Dagger Hanger-Assmann
This unusual hanger would be suitable for both the Hewer and Officers Dagger of the Labour Corps, consisting of a single piece of leather folded to incorporate a belt loop to the top and an Assmann marked spring clip to the bottom. Incorporates a uniform protector to both obverse and reverse.

This original TENO dagger has the lowest issue number we have ever seen on these massive and magnificent pieces, being 0453, stamped into the upper scabbard throat and the obverse ricasso. Only the earliest pieces had stamped numbers, later produced examples were etched in these locations.
