Grey coloured metal helmet has cast-in details to the decals on either side. Attachment to the marble base, which is some four inches by three inches, is by a contemporary screw fixing from the underside.

What appears to be an original poster measuring some 3 feet by two feet overall. Judging by the imperial eagle and crown depicted, this item could relate to the First World War and could originate in Belgium, France, or the Low Countries. It’s message reads
