Third Reich forestry dagger portepee

Forestry accoutrements, in common with most dagger accessories are more difficult to obtain than the dagger itself. Here is an opportunity to add an excellent example to your cutlass.
Silver strap with twin green stripes has no damage, Silver, crochet style stem, crown and acorn are tightly wrapped. Base of acorn has a green, twisted wire insert.

Third Reich Unknown Portepee (sa sword or drk officer?)

It is well known that numerous NPEA schools in the occupied territories utilised these captured frogs to instal the student dagger, some schools even issuing them as a “package”. Here’s a great rarity! An original Luftwaffe dagger grip spare, complete with the original maker marked paper wrap and tie. Clearly we have never unwrapped this item but assume that it is in mint condition beneath the covering.
