Presumably this was on a grey greatcoat in an SS distribution centre or barracks.

Third Reich Luftwaffe Officers Dagger Hanging Straps

A minty set of straps having all “Assmann” marked hardware, to include the buckles which are the type we usually associate with the RAD organisation! Slides are the normal oak leaf type, whilst the spring clips are the push in pebbled type. Upper box clip appears to be a government official type. Straps are still stiff having only minor wear to the high pile blue backings.

Third Reich SS Two Piece Dagger Hanger

Belt loop is a single piece of black leather folded and riveted to enclose an RZM marked “D” ring in the lower loop. Attached to the ring is a black leather grip strap which is also RZM marked, in ink, to the inner surface. Mint condition.  read more

Third Reich SS Dagger Hanger-Three piece

Another near perfect example of the rig used to stabilise party form daggers in wear. Belt loop has a pebbled, RZM marked “D” ring. Spring clip is RZM and OLC marked. Leather has no tears or rips and no loss of surface finish. Icing on the cake, the small grip strap has its loop retainer AND a factory RZM paper tag.  read more
